This Privacy Policy explains how T&C Logistics ("we", "us", "our") collects, uses, and protects information within the T&C Shipping mobile and web application (the "App"). The App is an internal tool provided to authorized employees and partners of T&C Logistics. A staff account is required to sign in; the App is not intended for the general public.
1. Information We Collect
- Account & profile data — name, employee ID, username, email, phone number, role, and preferred language, provided by you or your administrator.
- Payroll data — salary, allowances, overtime, and payslip details, used only to display your own payslips and, for authorized HR staff, to prepare payroll.
- Attendance data — clock-in / clock-out times synced from workplace time-and-attendance devices. Biometric templates (fingerprint / face) remain on the device and are not collected or stored by the App; only the resulting check-in times are recorded.
- Operational data — orders, shipments, reports, and related records you create or view as part of your work.
- Device & push token — a Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM) token used to deliver notifications about new reports and news.
- Camera (barcode / QR scanning) — when you use the in-app scanner, the App accesses your device camera only to read barcodes and QR codes for order tracking. Camera frames are processed on your device in real time and are never stored, saved, or transmitted. Granting the camera permission is optional — you can decline it and enter tracking codes manually.
- Technical & log data — basic information such as app version, session activity, and error logs, used to keep the service secure and reliable.
2. How We Use Information
- To operate the App and provide its features (dashboard, orders, tracking, payslips, attendance, reports, news).
- To authenticate you and maintain secure sessions.
- To send operational push notifications (for example, a new report directed to you or a new company notice).
- To administer payroll and attendance for authorized HR/admin roles.
- To protect the security and integrity of our systems.
3. How Information Is Shared
We do not sell your personal information or use it for advertising. Information is shared only:
- Within T&C Logistics, with authorized staff on a need-to-know basis (access is controlled by roles and permissions).
- With service providers that help us run the App — notably Google Firebase Cloud Messaging for push notifications and app distribution — who process data on our behalf.
- When required by law, to comply with a valid legal obligation.
4. Data Retention
We retain information for as long as your account is active and as needed to operate the business, meet payroll and employment record-keeping obligations, and comply with applicable law. Push tokens are removed when you log out or uninstall the App.
5. Security
Data is transmitted over encrypted connections (HTTPS/TLS) and access is restricted through authentication and role-based permissions. While no system can be guaranteed perfectly secure, we take reasonable measures to protect your information.
6. Your Choices & Rights
- You may disable push notifications at any time in your device settings.
- You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data, subject to our employment and legal record-keeping obligations, by contacting your T&C Logistics administrator or the email below.
7. Children's Privacy
The App is intended for employees and authorized partners and is not directed to children under 16.
8. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above.
